This was a great finding! Everything is vegan and I could finally eat a vegan cinnamon roll, so happy 🙌🏼

It's a bit hidden downstairs but definitely worth a visit. It has amazing vegan desserts including cheesecakes, semla, cinnamon buns and more. I had dessert there multiple times and also got some take away snacks that were all very delicious. The staff is also very friendly.

In love with this vegan cafe! We were so in love that we came back 3x during our last trip to Stockholm. We love the variety of offerings from coffee to pastries to sandwiches. Also the owner is so lovely and passionate for what he does and offers to the city of Stockholm. What a dream come true for vegan travelers like us 😍 Thank you, Kafé Plattan!

I visited Kafé Plattan for hot chocolate and cake twice during my recent trip to Stockholm. It is quite a spacious café in the basement of Kulturhuset, but still manages to have a cozy and relaxed feel. I took a book with me both times and didn't feel rushed to leave. It was nice to try some Swedish cakes, and I thought the prices were fair. The staff were also friendly. I'd recommend Kafé Plattan for anyone who wants to escape the noise and busyness of the surrounding area for a bit, and enjoy some good food and drinks.

Very delicious food, everything here is plant based and the guy is very passionate about his job, he explained to me every dessert when i asked for a recommendation and was very clear in his descriptions. I also bought some of the chocolate they sell there which is apparently from an all-women owned company, the atmosphere is nice and I was able to rest there while relaxing and eating my food. Would recommend everything tastes great 10/10

I adore this café! I can’t believe I only found out about this place last year. This has now become my go to place when I want to fika. They have some the best buns in Stockholm, hands down. You can also buy the plant-based steak from Juicy Marbles here (to cook at home). I highly recommend that one. I love that they do different seasonal semla buns. They do the regular ones during the semla season of course but they also do one with strawberries in the whipped cream during midsummer, an apple pie one during autumn last year (this autumn they had a STUNNING cinnamon bun semla) and then they even do a saffron semla in December. I’ve recommended this place to so many people that I feel like I should be sponsored by them 😂 The absolute best thing on their menu is their semla, so please try to go there when they have it. I sound like a crazed semla fanatic but I didn’t even like semla buns when I was growing up (before going vegan), so I’m simply very impressed that they’ve made me like semlor this much 🥹

Great alternative to the nearby espresso house. Loads of Vegan options available. The mini cakes were delicious & the pesto walnut Sandwich was amazing. Worth a visit!

Came for the vegan, stayed for the atmosphere. Lovely cafe with great selection of vegan savouries and sweets. I suspect this will become a regular stop on my Stockholm trips.

Always happy to find a vegan café! They offer different options, including sandwiches, desserts, and drinks. We had a cappuccino with oat milk, black tea, apple pie (served with what I believe was vanilla cream), and Kladdkaka (served warm with whipped cream). If you’re a chocolate lover, definitely go for the Kladdkaka. It’s so delicious. I really liked the place overall. The service was fast, and the staff were very friendly.
